  1. I still think that science can not say what is right or wrong. People are always going to judge what is right or wrong. Science can not answer every question.Dylan Steege

  2. Nothing can really say if things are exactly right or wrong, and even if there is people will still debate it. Especially large topics like evolution. It is completely obvious evolution exists, but it will be debated for many years to come.

  3. I don't think that its possible to create science on the question oh human morality. Every person has a difference sense of right and wrong no 2 people could agree. If some one where to be a expert in this science they would be a expert in their own morality which is a contradiction. For this reason I don't think people could be judge on a science that has no evidence whats true. This should remain a theroy

  4. I think that there is no science that can decide what is right or wrong. Different views mean's there will be different opinions on what is right and what is wrong. Human morality is something that will always be debated over.

  5. We can't really say what is right and what is wrong because no one really even knows what exactly is right or wrong. We all have our own thoughts about things, if you see two people arguing that's that. Everyone will always be arguing over human morality because its the fact that there is no right or wrong answer to this.

  6. I don't think that science can come near defining morality or beliefs. How a person feels and what they do or do not believe in isn't a fact, it's an opinion. There isn't right or wrong, once again it's an opinion and an opinion cannot be defined or proven. It can be explained, but not proven. What one person feels Is right another person thinks is wrong. He used the example of a society where a woman doesn't dare show any skin, vs. Our society where you show as much skin as you please. This is an argument with no right or wrong answer, only an opinion and personal beliefs.

  7. I agree with most of the points brought up in the video. Though science cannot explain everything in life, he does make a good point that it can explain and relate to most moral questions. Also, his thoughts on religion on very accurate and widely controversial. The fact that religion itself is so far from what was originally intended makes today's religion destructive. Many religious people are tunnel-minded, making unable to accept other beliefs. This relates to the point made in the video by showing the two extremes of woman's garments. This video did not however, offer any sort of solution to find this happy medium between extremes.

In my opinion I think that even though the video made good points, science can not say what is right or wrong. Humans don't have the mentality to know exactly what is right or wrong. Humans all think differently and all have different opinions. Science cant prove or make an opinion true or wrong.

  9. i think science & morality change the way you think my mother thinks more in term of her morality and values on life ... i like to look at facts and truths . we never seem to agree when we disagree because of what she was raised to believe in .. and while i rather look at science for the answer there. for example my mother thinks the el "ojo de venado" should be put around a babys hand so they wont get sick & it will take away the evil ..my grandmother ,aunts & many mexican women believe that because thats something they were brought up tp value .me on the other hand dont think the el ojo de venado will make a diffrence on if the baby gets sick or not . i dont believe science could answer moral questions. because science is suppose to be based on facts not assumptions..ESperanza

There is no definite right or wrong for anything, there are always circumstances that can change a persons point of view. Yes there are things that are almost always morally wrong and we can make a conscious decision whether it is or not, but it depends on the situation and the circumstances. Most things can be argued either way because I believe it is a matter of opinion.

  12. I think that science can tell us what is right and what is wrong sometimes but some people do not be leave that science is right no matter how much proof you have they will still be leave in what they think is to be true.

I think that science should help us decided what is right and wrong but not be the only factor. Everyone has their own ideas what is right and wrong. The video had really good points but everyone has their own opinion on what is right and wrong. There will always be people that will stick to what they believe and not listen to the facts.

Science answers some questions but it can't answer everything because if science could answer everything there wouldn't be any problems in the world. People are always going to question if science is write or wrong with an answer even after many years.

  15. I don't think that science should be the deciding factor on what's wrong or what's right, and what's good or what's bad. Everyone has their own opinions and they shouldn't base everything off of facts. I mean, isn't that the whole point of life; to learn and grown? Not to just go off of things based upon facts? People have to make mistakes to learn what's right from wrong or they will never know.

  16. I think science kinda does decide whether things are right or wrong. I mean there not always right or wrong there just doing a study and everybody has there own opinion on how things occur the way that they do. So then again, it doesn't! But I would have to go withno it doesn't prove right or wrong.

  17. I think that Science can give us a vague guideline for what is right or wrong that could have some value in our decision making, but will never be able to absolutely prove whether something is right or wrong. At best, science could only state whether something is socially acceptable for a certain society at a certain point in time.

  18. Science answers many questions. But not all of these are right. Morality and science have nothing to do with each other and schience can't have values because they use any means possible to prove a hypotheses. Science can state that something or someone is wrong but they can't necessarily prove why. People have to make their own choices, their own mistakes, and learn their own lessons so that they can know right from wrong. They need to learn on their own and not be told what they should think and what they should believe.

  19. I agree with other people, science cant decide whats right and whats wrong, its all you about who you are and your personal morals and values

Yes, I agree other people as well. Science can't tell us what is right or wrong. I mean isn't science all about theories? And sometimes theories can not be proved. Scence can not prove everything, so why say it has that power to? We can't go by what Scientist think to be true. We have our own opinions and own views.

I believe that science does have answers to some questions, but just as easy as science can come up with answers so can mortality and beliefs. Nobody will agree with an answer about life if they don't want to or they are totally set in what they believe is true. So I think it can go both ways. Science maybe able to answer some questions but so can morality. It all pretty much depends on a person's beliefs.

  22. I dont believe science can answer this question, everyone has their opinion on whats right or wrong, there are just some things that science cant answer.

  23. I don't think that science can tell us what is right and what is wrong. I believe that only you can say what you believe is right and what's wrong because no higher power or evidence can chmge your opinion

  24. In my opinion i don't think science can always prove to us if something is right or if something is wrong it just depends on who the person is, and what that persons personal beliefs are. And sometimes ya science may have tons of proof about something that they are working on but that doesn't mean that all the proof they have is correct or right so in my opinion it just depends on the persons beliefs about whatever science is trying to prove.
